Northstar's Guidelines

Please follow to ensure the enjoyment of all campers.

  • OFFICE HOURS: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM Friday - Saturday & 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Sunday - Thursday

  • CHECK-IN TIME is 2:00 PM & CHECK-OUT is 12:00 PM. Additional fees may apply for early check-in and late check-out IF AVAILABLE.

  • SPEED LIMIT IS 5 MPH! Watch for children at all times.

  • QUIET HOURS: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Strictly Enforced! Activities disturbing other campers should be reported to the management at once.

  • NOISE generated by radios, televisions and other sources is restricted to your site. Excessive noise of any kind will not be permitted. NO GENERATORS during quiet hours.

  • VISITORS MUST REGISTER AT OFFICE BEFORE ENTERING. Their cars must be left in the designated visitor parking area. Day visitors must leave by 9:00 PM. Registered campers will be held responsible for their guests.

  • PETS ARE WELCOME AND MUST BE ON A SHORT LEASH AT ALL TIMES! Your pet should never be left unattended or barking. Please be courteous and clean up after your pet. NO PETS ALLOWED in the bathrooms, pavilion, kids' playground area, pond or on the pond's beach area.

  • CAMPFIRES allowed ONLY in established fireplaces. Fire height cannot exceed 2 feet or knee high. Fires must be kept low in order to PREVENT FOREST FIRES! All fires must be extinguished (doused with water) by 12:01 am. Please do not dispose of food, garbage, bottles or cans in the fireplaces. 

  • STATE LAW: Do not move fire rings or fireplaces.

  • PARENTS are responsible for the safety and behavior of their children at all times.


  • BICYCLES, skateboards and scooters cannot be ridden after dark, in the pavilion or around the pond.

  • NO RIDING of dirt/mini bikes, ATVs, motorized carts, coolers, etc. 

  • NO VEHICLES driving on grass areas, parked in roadway or parked in adjacent sites.

  • SWIMMING AT YOUR OWN RISK! NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY! No swimming after dark. Children must be accompanied by a qualified adult at the pond at all times. Life vests must be worn at all times while on floats, boats or rafts.

  • ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS CONTAINERS ALLOWED around swimming pond, in the pavilion and while walking on campground premises.

  • TREES: Anyone putting axes or nails into or cutting trees will be immediately evicted without refund.

  • DAMAGE to campground property will result in payment by responsible camper.

  • ELECTRICITY: 20 and 30 amp outlets (NO ELECTRIC HOT WATER HEATERS). No charging of electric vehicles allowed. 

  • GRAY WATER must be disposed of properly. An approved sewer gasket must be used on sewer sites.

  • UNREGISTERED VEHICLES not permitted.


Reservation Policies

Cancellation Policy

Cancelling your reservation on the day of or 7 days in advance of your stay will result in no refund. Cancelling your reservation 8 to 14 days in advance of your stay, you will be refunded half of your total stay. Cancellations 15 or more days will receive a full refund minus a $15 processing fee.

Refund Policy

There will be no refunds after you have checked in, for inclement weather, failure to follow the Rules & Regulations or disorderly conduct. Manager/Owner reserves the right to have discretion on all refunds.

Holiday Reservations

Reservations for major holidays including Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day carry a 3-night minimum. Reservations for holiday weekends require cancellation notice of 15 days or more to receive a refund minus a $15 processing fee.  Any cancellations received 14 days or less ahead of your stay will result in no refund.
